Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective October 14, 2026
This policy covers consumer health data under Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar laws. It adds to our Privacy Policy. Throu is operated by Throu, Inc.
1. What we collect and why
- Wearable data from a service you connect, such as WHOOP: sleep, recovery, heart rate, workouts, and activity.
- Health details you give us: allergies and diet in your profile, and what you write in chats.
We collect it only with your consent, and use it only to answer you and do what you ask. Never for ads.

3. Sharing
We never sell it, and we share it only when you ask, such as in an email you send. Our service providers process it to run Throu: Anthropic and OpenAI (AI answers), and Railway, Neon, and Vercel (hosting).
4. Your rights
You can see, delete, or withdraw consent for your health data. Disconnect a wearable in Connections, delete chats or your account in Settings, or email privacy@throu.ai. We reply within 45 days. To appeal a decision, reply to our email. If we deny the appeal, you can contact the Washington Attorney General.
